Meet the Speakers:
Kati Maxwell bought her first “big girl” camera in 2006 and has been shooting ever since. She started out capturing her own family and her love for photography intensified. She realized quickly that this was the legacy she was supposed to leave. She received her degree in Marketing and Communications to have something to “fall back on”. Little did she know she’d need it to grow her own business. And goodness has it grown! Kati is based out of Georgetown, Texas but travels worldwide. She is known for her Wedding photography and has been featured in some of the top Bridal magazines in Texas.
Praise for Kati:
“Kati is an incredible teacher. She is open and honest about her business and her life. She taught us the in’s and out’s of wedding photography. Kati gave me the best tips on how to save me from back and hand pain that is normally associated with photography. I now provide my clients with a new personal experience because I’m not afraid to! She empowered me to be me in my photography and in my whole process. I can’t thank her enough for that.”—Lexie
“As a photographer it was refreshing to meet another photographer so willing to show grace and kindness. Kati has been such an inspiration to me and I’m blessed to have had the chance to learn from her. She opened my eyes to see that God can use me in every photoshoot. Because of her breakout session, I’ve been able to have the confidence and encouragement I needed to put God first in my business.”—Alexis
“I admire Kati’s professionalism, calm demeanor and love for photography. She has captured so many special events in my life, including my two pregnancies, their newborn sessions, and most recently the birth of my second child. I never noticed her there during his birth, which is wonderful when you’re going through such a vulnerable and personal experience. She was very professional, patient, helpful and just sweet the entire time! She felt like family. I will be using her services again, and many of my friends have now used her services as well!”—Sarah
